It’s true. I am so crazy about perfection when it comes to pixels that it’s borderline nuts. Pixel precision as a drug for me began in the late 90’s with the Kaliber 10000 website which exhibited an unhealthy amount of little pixels ever so perfectly arranged. I myself began to think in pixels. They were everywhere I looked and if they were even 1 pixel off…I would cringe. Over time thinking in pixels became almost second nature to me, a natural part of my life. There was God, family and last but not least, the pixel. Fortunately I have been blessed to be able to merge my love for the pixel with my line of work. It’s like killing two birds with one pixel stone.
So you can imagine my elation when I stumbled upon the CSS TYPE site. Their tagline perfectly states their purpose:
web safe typography on screen for pixel perfectionists
This is great news. Not only is it another tool for feeding my pixel precision need, but it confirms something that I have suspected for a long time. There must be more people out there like me…people passionate about pixels…freaks.
